Original prints in time-honoured, hand printed methods
Many, many years ago, as a Fine Art student, I found myself drawn to printmaking. I think the attraction is that it is close to my first love, drawing. I love the immediacy of picking up a pencil or pen, having each line count, and with most printmaking techniques, a strong drawing foundation is key. Now 3 decades later and not having a dedicated studio space, using acid solutions to etch metal plates is not an option for me at the moment, I have opted to explore drypoint on perspex and lino printing. I really am at the beginning of this exploration and can't wait to see where it takes me.
There are limited edition original prints available of each artwork. Please click on the images to see more details and to contact me if you are interested in acquiring an original print.
