The paper trees and landscapes from my wanderings....
When I decided to do FYJ 2020 I felt that I needed a change of subject matter so that I could learn something new. Since I am surrounded by trees on this beautiful farm I chose trees. In some paintings the trees are the penny gum trees that grow on the edges of my horse fields and although they are not indigenous, I do have a fondness for these tall, straight trees with the peeling bark. Others are the hilaria, indigenous to our area, hardy and gnarled, with orchid blooms. Others are from my travels, like the old olive trees on Aegina Island in Greece.
There are originals and giclee fine art prints available of all these artworks. Giclee prints are archival, museum quality prints guaranteed for 75 years and more. Red dots mean the original is sold, but prints are available.
